Training description

This training is the first stage of a programme dedicated to SSC/GBS managers.
LEVEL 1, BLOCK I of the SSC/GBS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY programme consists of six dedicated modules in the development of business (soft) competencies that belong to BLOCK I entitled Leading the self.

This is the 6th module of the whole Block in which you will learn:
Module 6 – Agility in business – antifragility and mental resilience as a fundament of modern leadership.

Each module lasts 5h and consists of a theory and a practical part. Implementation of each module in 2024 according to the following schedule:

Training objectives

Training will allow the participants to:
• Better understand what is the direction of supporting functions evolution
• Learn about cultural differences when doing business with different countries (including among others management style, teamwork, communication)
• Identify opportunities linked with standardization and centralization
• Apply continuous improvement approach to achieve process excellence
• Gather the knowledge needed around technology impact (with special focus on process automation)
• Discuss and brainstorm on digital threats and opportunities

For whom?

A whole programme is dedicated to developing managers with up to 5 years of experience working in the SSC/GBS sector.

MODULE 6
Agility in business – antifragility and mental resilience as a fundament of modern leadership (5 h)

The course provides information on basics of agility in business with a focus on the shared services centers’ specific needs. The theoretical basis is entwined with practical examples and exercises in the course.

Nowadays antifragility and mental resilience is perceived as a fundament of the leadership as well as creating flexible and future ready teams and entities.

Business agility is a progressive, people-centric approach to all aspects of business that is changing how organizations function and succeed in the modern world. It requires a mindset and way of working that is fast, ready for overcoming obstacles, finding creative solutions to overcome environmental, social and economic issues.

The course discovers how to improve key aspects of potential development of your business approach and leadership style as well as the company culture.

Framework Programme:

1. Increasing capabilities to thrive as a result of stressors, volatility and failures.

2. The concepts of individual and business resiliency and robustness.

3. Fostering innovation to raise the upside potential, limit the downside risk, and emerge with greater antifragility.

4. Professional approach to challenges and obstacles in ever changing business environment – How to prepare for unforeseen events.

• original electronic training materials,
• certificate.

Each person registered must have a computer or other mobile device with a built-in speaker (optional camera and microphone) and Internet access.

The above-mentioned equipment does not oblige you to share your image, it is needed in order to actively participate in the training.
